Inman Aligner

This case took 12 weeks to align with a single Inman Aligner. The patient had previously considered veneers but the potential risk to the protruding teeth meant that the Inman Aligner was the perfect solution.

After her teeth were aligned, there was no need to prepare for veneers, so simple bleaching and composite bonding was used to replace her old stained fillings.

This lady wanted straighter and whiter teeth, but wanted to retain a natural look. However, she didn't want to wear fixed braces. Her Inman aligner treatment took only 13 weeks. She then had some bleaching and direct bonding.

This lady had planned to have 8 porcelain veneers. It was clear that a couple of her teeth would need aggressive preparation so we used an Inman Aligner first over 10 weeks. There was so much aesthetic improvement that only bleaching and small amount of bonding was needed to make it look like she had had 8 veneers. At a later date if she ever wants veneers to rejuvenate her enamel, at least her teeth are better aligned to do so.

This lady had originally planned to have invisible braces to straighten her very rotated front tooth. She was quoted 12-14 months of treatment to do this. She had even considered porcelain veneers. This would have inevitably resulted in the devitalization of the upper central and a very aggressive preparation design.

An Inman Aligner was used and the tooth was fully derotated in less than 13 weeks. Simple whitening and minimal bonding was performed to give her the smile she wanted without a long wait or any preps at all.

This patient was originally seeking porcelain veneers to straighten her lower incisors. When she found out she would need 2 elective root treatments, she was keen to seek a less destructive option. When she had talked to her dentist about orthodontics, she was advised it would take at least 9 months, which she had also ruled out.

The Inman aligner was a perfect option for her because treatment could be completed in a short period of time. This case only took 7 weeks. Also, as a model she was very pleased to be able to take the aligner out for photo shoots.
