Question:
This patient is only concerned with the upper six anterior teeth. Is this a suitable case for the Inman Aligner?

Answer:
This is a good case for the Inman Aligner.  You can place a small composite anchor on the facial aspect of the UR1 to ensure the labial bow stays at the incisal 1/3.  This should pull the tooth into line nicely.  You can opt to use either IPR or a combined Inman and Expander.  You can even try to derotate the cuspids immediately after the IA by widening the cuspid tips and having a couple of bespoke Clear Aligners made.  It works very well and is less expensive than Invisalign.  Cuspids move very nicely after they have been under the load of the IA as the ligament widens far more effectively and is happier to move.
